The outdoor flag poles are made from high quality aluminium and come complete with cap, pulley, rope and cleat.

Outdoor flag poles can be planted in the ground or a base plate can be added for ground mounting.

Swivel base flag poles allow for the pole to be brought down to the ground for maintenance whereas ground flag poles require a ladder or cherry picker for maintenance.

Flag poles are a great way to establish the presence of your company and very effective in showing your brand and corporate identity. A flag pole placed at your entrance will help create credibility and show that this is the official location of your business.

Ground flag poles should be placed so that they do not obstruct pedestrian and vehicle traffic around the business premises. It is important to have enough space around the flag poles to be able to lower and hoist the flags and to be able to carry out any maintenance that may be required on the flag poles.

Flag poles can also be mounted on buildings, it is important to have easy access to the flag poles in order to maintain or change the flags. Flag poles can be mounted at 45 degree angles, however the flags tend to wrap around the poles when the wind blows, upright or ground mounted flag poles are therefore the more popular choice.

Flags flying on flag poles compliment any branding or signage on the building and raise the visibility of your company’s location.

Branding on flags should be bold and simple so as not to confuse customers, the flag is there to create brand awareness not to try communicate an entire message. Flags will flap around in the wind and hang limp against the flag pole when there is no wind, so a large, bold logo on your flag is the most pragmatic design.

What Should My Flagpole Height Be?

How to determine the height of the pole required. It is best to use a right size flag that fits the height of your pole properly. For example, if you are using a 90cm x 60cm flag (perfect for higher winds), the height of your flagpole should be a minimum of 5m tall. If you are using a 180cm x 120cm size of flag, the height of your pole should be a minimum of 6m tall. A 9m or 12m tall pole should be used for the ceremonial size of 270cm x 180cm. It is always best to use the proper size flag so that undue stress is not put on the poles when the wind speed is high.

Should I Choose a Wall Mounted Pole or an In-Ground Flag Pole?

In-ground poles should be placed so that they do not obstruct pedestrian and vehicle traffic around the business premises. It is important to have enough space around the poles to be able to lower and hoist the flags and to be able to carry out any maintenance that may be required on the poles.

Flag poles can also be mounted on buildings using brackets, it is important to have easy access to the poles in order to maintain or change the flags. Flag poles can be mounted at 45 degree angles, however the flags tend to wrap around the poles in high winds, an upright or in-ground flagpole is therefore the more popular choice. Sturdier flagpoles usually have a base plate.

How To Maintain My Flagpole

Cleaning a flag pole should be done every few months or when the flag pole becomes visibly dirty. Dirt can accumulate on a flagpole, this will eventually cause damage to the flagpole. If you notice that your flag is showing signs of dirt, it is best to clean the pole as soon as possible.

4 Reasons to Invest in Flagpoles

· Establish presence

· Show your brand

· Create credibility

· Connect with customers

Flag poles are a great way to establish the presence of your company and very effective in showing your brand and corporate identity. A single flagpole placed at your entrance will help create credibility and show that this is the official location of your business.

When customers see a branded flag flying on a single pole they associate it with your company and may want to learn more about what it is that you offer. A great way to connect emotionally with customers is to have two flag poles next to each other, one flag pole will have the branded corporate flag flying and the other will have your country’s flag flying, this will remind potential customers that the employers and employees are proud of their country.

Some businesses plant multiple flag poles as it is customary to fly the corporate flag, the flag of the country in which the business is located as well as the flags of other countries where the business is represented. It is also a warm gesture to fly the flag of the country of special guests that may be visiting the premises. More flag poles with more flags will also help people notice your company more.
